How Oakside Community Church Started
Oakside Community Church began in 2024 with a simple mission: to love Jesus, love others, and serve our community well.
Pastored by Steve Craig, Oakside was planted to be a church rooted in Scripture, built on genuine relationships, and focused on reaching people right where they are, especially in the Summersville area and nearby rural towns.
We may be a young church, but our heart is strong for God’s Word and for the people He has placed around us.
What We Believe

Pastor Steve Craig
Oakside Community Church is led by Pastor Steve Craig, who values faithful teaching, humility, and caring for people well. Pastor Steve believes the church should feel like family — a place where people are known, supported, and encouraged to follow Jesus in everyday life.
Together with his wife, Julie, he serves Oakside with a heart for both spiritual growth and community care.
